One of the top US forest products companies, Weyerhaeuser operates along several business lines, including Wood Products (lumber, plywood, and other building materials); Containerboard, Packaging, and Recycling (corrugated boxes, linerboard, industrial and agricultural packaging, and recycling); and Pulp and Paper (pulp and coated and uncoated papers). Also, Timberlands manages 6.4 million acres of company-owned US timberland and nearly 15 million acres of leased Canadian timberland. Its Real Estate unit develops housing and master-planned communities. Weyerhaeuser has merged its copier paper business with Domtar.
