St. David's Health Care System is geared towards improving health in central Texas. The medical system owns five acute-care hospitals with a total of more than 1,100 beds, as well as a rehabilitation hospital and other medical facilities in and around the capital of Texas. The system includes ambulatory and diagnostic clinics and numerous inpatient and outpatient programs for Texans young and old. St. David's Health Care System is managed by St. David's HealthCare Partnership, a joint venture with hospitals operator HCA.
