Its products -- under brand names George Foreman, Toastmaster, Juiceman, LitterMaid, Breadman, Russell Hobbs, Farberware, Ultrasonex, and Salton -- are made primarily by independent manufacturers in the Far East. Harbinger Capital Partners, which bought Applica in late 2007, controls Salton.
