Safety-Kleen Company Description
Safety-Kleen HoldCo has recycled itself, successfully recovering from bankruptcy, and is looking to become a publicly traded company again with a new name -- and the same spelling issues. Through its Safety-Kleen Systems subsidiary it provides industrial waste management services for local auto shops, government agencies, and large corporations. Safety-Kleen collects, processes, recycles, and disposes of a large range of hazardous and nonhazardous wastes, including oil, brake fluid, oily rags, and antifreeze. It is the largest recovery and recycling company for used oil products in the US, refining more than 200 million gallons annually. Safety-Kleen operates more than 200 service and recycling centers.
