Quebecor is a holding company controlled by the Péladeau family that owns a 55% stake in Quebecor Media, a conglomerate with interests in television, publishing, and online media. Those holdings include cable television operator Videotron, which serves more than 1.5 million homes with television and Internet access services, and French-language television network TVA. Quebecor Media's publishing units include newspaper publishers Sun Media (The Toronto Sun) and Osprey Media, as well as magazine publisher TVA Publications.
