Through its PRN Network, the company provides customized television programming across TV sets in 6,000 major retail stores such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Sears. PRN, which stands for Premier Retail Networks, targets customers throughout member stores with its news, entertainment, advertising, and customized product information programming. About 150 advertisers buy airtime on PRN each year to reach the company's 250 million monthly viewers. Other operations include interactive preview stations, which consumers can use to preview CDs or DVDs prior to purchase. PRN is a unit of French media production services company THOMSON.
