Precision Dynamics Company Description
Precision Dynamics Corp. (PDC) will never experience an identity crisis. The company makes bar code and radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems (wrist and ankle bands and scanners) to identify hospital patients, ticket holders in entertainment venues, people in police custody, and corpses (for which it also makes cadaver bags). Additionally, the company makes ID bands for animals in veterinary offices and animal shelters. Precision Dynamics was co-founded in 1956 by company director Walter Mosher. Private equity firm Water Street Healthcare Partners acquired control of the company in 2007. PDC has facilities in Belgium, Mexico, and the US, and sells its products in more than 100 countries.
