Already a leader in its field, Penton Media has grown into a trade magazine publishing powerhouse. Following its 2007 acquisition by Prism Business Media, the combined companies' operations make it one of the nation's largest business-to-business information providers. Operations include more than 110 magazines, nearly 150 Web sites, some 200 e-newsletters, and about 100 industry trade shows. Titles include Air Transport World, Electronic Design, and Broadcast Engineering, covering about 30 industries.
