It owns 76% of OxyVinyls, the #1 producer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin in North America. Subsidiary Occidental Chemical (OxyChem) produces acids, chlorine, and specialty products. Occidental Petroleum also has an energy trading and marketing operation, Occidental Energy Marketing.
