Net2Phone has made talking to your computer a sign of intelligence. A leading developer of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), the company provides VoIP services (including PC-to-phone and broadband phone service) directly to consumers and businesses and through a network of international resellers. Net2Phone also markets its service to cable operators, allowing them to deliver complete VoIP service to their customers. The company is a unit of IDT and is being integrated into the parent company's Telecom division. IDT acquired the 20% stake it did not own in 2006 in a deal valued at $28 million.
