The company's specialized circuits are used as accelerometers (used to measure tilt and other motion) and sensors in automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, and mobile phone applications. The company partners with such companies as Sensata Technologies. Its customers include Autoliv (about 16% of sales), Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Sony, and TomTom. MEMSIC gets around three-quarters of its sales in the Asia/Pacific region.
