Having circumnavigated its energy prospects, Magellan Midstream Partners is looking to make even more money as an energy infrastructure enterprise with ammonia and petroleum products storage, transportation, and distribution assets. Magellan Midstream Partners' portfolio includes 27 inland terminals, and 1,100 miles of ammonia pipeline, 8,500 miles of refined petroleum pipeline, and 47 distribution terminals (with a combined usable storage capacity of 29 million barrels) in the US Midwest. The partnership also owns seven marine terminal facilities on the US East and Gulf coasts.
