Liberty Capital Group is a tracking stock of Liberty Media, a holding company controlled by John Malone with interests in media, retail, and telecommunications. Liberty Capital includes holdings related to cable television programming and telecommunications services, including Starz Media (media produciton and distribution) and TruePosition (wireless positioning applications). Liberty Capital also owns Leisure Arts (a publisher of lifestyle and instructional books, DVDs, newsletters, and Web content) and two television stations (WFRV-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and WJMN-TV in Escanaba, Michigan). The Liberty Capital tracking stock was formed in 2006 along with Liberty Interactive Group.
