JetBlue Company Description
JetBlue Airways is counting on more than low fares to make its ledgers jet-black. The carrier offers one-class service -- with leather seats, satellite TV (with programming from DIRECTV), satellite radio (from XM), and movies (from FOX InFlight) -- to about 55 cities in more than 20 states and in Mexico and the Caribbean (including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic). The majority of its flights arrive or depart from one of five key markets: Boston; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Long Beach, California; New York; and Washington, DC. The company's fleet of about 140 aircraft consists mainly of Airbus A320s but also includes Embraer 190s.
