The organization serves people with barriers, like developmental, medical, psychiatric, and emotional problems, to employment. It also works with homeless people, at-risk youth, dislocated workers, and those over 50 seeking jobs. It operates about 20 retail outlets and two refurbished computer outlets. In 2008 the group partnered with area employers, not-for-profits, and community groups to help 10,000 needy individuals find jobs. It teamed with Dell and the City of Austin to form a computer-recycling program and computer museum.
