Galiform Company Description
At Galiform kitchens are joinery hold the keys to the castle. The company's Howden Joinery subsidiary operates some 440 outlets in England and Wales that cater to the building trade and account for about 80% of Galiform's sales. The firm exited the business of selling ready-to-assemble furniture for bedrooms, kitchens, and home offices (under the Schreiber brand) in 2006. It also ran about 200 MFI Homeworks stores in the UK. Stale retail sales led the firm (then known as MFI) to restructure its business and sell its struggling ready-to-assemble furniture operations and stores to Merchant Equity Partners in late 2006. It changed its name to Galiform when the deal was completed.
