DCT Industrial Trust is in da house! (The warehouse, that is.) The real estate investment trust (REIT) develops, owns, and manages bulk distribution and light industrial properties located in about two dozen high-volume distribution markets in the US and Mexico. About 85% of its portfolio consists of bulk distribution warehouses; light industrial properties make up most of the remainder. The more than 400 buildings that DCT Industrial Trust owns, has an interest in, or provides asset management for total some 74 million sq. ft. The REIT has also launched industrial funds to expand its institutional capital management platform. Tenants include the US Postal Service and B&G Foods.
