University of Wales, or Prifysgol Cymru, is the degree-awarding body for most of the higher education institutions in Wales. Among its member institutions are schools at Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Lampeter, and Swansea. The member institutes also include University of Wales Institute (Cardiff), Swansea Institute of Higher Education, and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. It also has a research center, Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies. The University of Wales Press, established in 1922, publishes some 60 titles annually.
