The University of Tulsa is a private university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) with an enrollment of more than 4,000 students. The school offers nearly 60 undergraduate and more than 30 graduate programs, including ten doctoral degree programs, at colleges of arts and sciences, business, and engineering and natural sciences. The University of Tulsa was founded in Muskogee in 1882 as the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls and was chartered as Henry Kendall College in 1894.
