It also conducts exploration activities in those countries and Chile. SCC produces around 1 billion pounds of copper annually and owns about 70 billion pounds of copper and molybdenum reserves. The copper is sold in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, where it's used mainly in construction and electronics.
