    Seton Healthcare Network provides medical care within Austin's city limits, as well as surrounding areas of Central Texas. The not-for-profit organization, part of Ascension Health, includes nine urban and rural acute-care hospitals, as well as psychiatric and children's hospitals and a network of community clinics. With a total of 1,600 beds, Seton's facilities (known as the Seton Family of Hospitals) offer patients a wide range of services, including regional trauma, heart transplant, neurological, and neonatal intensive care units, as well as primary and specialty care medical services for the uninsured.
