Radamec Control Systems (RCS) takes an approach to business that's hardly radical. The company, which traces its roots to the founding of Newbury Diesel Controls in 1932, manufactures electronic control systems and instrumentation for pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, primarily for the marine industry. The company's gear performs a variety of functions, such as monitoring shipboard machinery for safety and security. RCS was formerly a part of Radamec Group, which in 2005 wound up its business operations and returned its equity to shareholders.
