Qcept Technologies markets the Chemetriq Series, which examines silicon wafers for minute details of chemical contamination, micro-scratch detection, and atomic layer deposition process characterization and control, among other functions. The company, founded in 2000, was the first to "graduate" from Georgia Tech's VentureLab program; its offices are close by the Tech campus.
