Nissan Motor, one of Japan's leading auto makers (after Toyota and Honda), wants to get big by going small. Nissan's models include Maxima and Sentra cars, Altima and Infiniti upscale sedans, Frontier pickups, the 350Z sports car, and Xterra and Pathfinder SUVs. Nissan also is one of the world's largest manufacturers of forklifts. The company plans to introduce low-cost and fuel-efficient small cars with standard comfort, safety, style, and performance. Nissan primarily manufactures in China, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US. About 75% of sales come from outside of Japan.
