Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings is the largest chemical manufacturer in Japan. Subsidiary Mitsubishi Chemical (MCC) produces a wide variety of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, and the like. Another unit, Mitsubishi Plastics, manufactures plastics and films, data storage devices such as CDs and DVDs, as well as chemicals for semiconductor manufacturing.
