Medifast is helping people slim down and shape up. The company develops, manufactures, and markets health and diet products under its Medifast brand name. The products, which are manufactured by Medifast subsidiary Jason Pharmaceuticals, include food and beverages (meal replacement shakes, bars), as well as disease management products for diabetics. Medifast sells its wares direct to consumers online and through doctor's offices.
