LA84 Foundation is dedicated to making sure Southern California youth have a chance to bring their game. The foundation grants money to youth sports organizations in eight Southern California counties, operates sports programs, and manages the Paul Ziffren Sports Resource Center, a leading sports research library and learning center. LA84 also owns a vast collection of sports art and artifacts that comprises printed art, paintings, and sculptures. The group has pledged more than $185 million in grants since 1985. Its endowment was established with proceeds from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
