The systems integrator resells satellite telephones and videophones, as well as VSAT terminals (very small aperture terminals), from such manufacturers as Inmarsat and Iridium and reconfigures them into complete systems for military and commercial clients. The company also acts as a broker of satellite airtime. Formerly called Global Communications Solutions (GCS), the company was acquired by L-3 Communications and renamed L-3 GCS in 2007.
