This link will open in a new window Heritage Valley Health System is a two-hospital health care system serving the health care needs of a region that includes southwestern Pennsylvania (the Pittsburgh area), eastern Ohio, and the West Virginia panhandle. It includes the main Heritage Valley Beaver hospital in Beaver, Pennsylvania, with about 360 beds and a smaller facility in nearby Sewickley with about 185 beds. In addition to its acute-care facilities, the system operates several satellite facilities and provides primary care through a network of affiliated physician groups.
