Hansen Medical helps doctors maneuver catheters within tricky parts of the heart. The company's portable Sensei system incorporates advanced robotics to assist in guiding the movement of flexible catheters in such places as the atria and ventricles. The system is designed to work along with its Artisan control catheters. Sensei has received FDA and European regulatory approval for the manipulation, positioning, and control of mapping catheters in electrophysiology procedures (designed to diagnose irregular electrical impulses in the heart).
