Gulf South Pipeline, a subsidiary of Boardwalk Pipeline Partners (itself a subsidiary of Loews ), operates an interstate natural gas pipeline system that transports products from southern Texas to western Florida. Its system consists of about 7,700 miles of natural gas gathering systems and pipeline and about 40 compressor stations. The company also owns two natural gas storage fields in Louisiana and Mississippi capable (together) of holding approximately 131 billion cu. ft. of natural gas.
