Products include steam turbines designed for nuclear applications, new and refurbished parts, plant performance software, and instrumentation such as in-core and ex-core sensors, gamma thermometers, probes, and radiation monitors. In 2003 GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy relocated to the East Coast of the US, where most of its customers, such as Progress Energy , are located.
