You might say this company is the top banana in Europe. A major European importer and distributor of fresh fruits, Fyffes is best known for its bananas. It was the first company to brand bananas, using its now familiar "Blue Label." The company markets its fruit, which also includes Fyffes Gold Pineapples and melons, under the Fyffes, Turbana, and Nolem brands. Fyffes streamlined its operations in 2006 when it spun off its general fruits and vegetable business as a separate, publicly-traded business called Total Produce.
