The company provides natural gas compression, power generation, and process equipment for sale, rental, or lease to the oil and gas production market. Its products and services target the industry segment operating between the wellhead and pipeline. It also offers hydrocarbon production and processing facilities, electrical, instrumentation and controls services, and a slate of mechanical field maintenance and contracting capabilities. Enerflex holds a 50% stake in the Presson Descon International joint venture. In early 2010 Canada-based Toromont bought Enerflex for about $591 million in cash and stock.
