Its LightPulse cards are used to connect storage devices in traditional direct-attached storage configurations, as well as storage area network (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) systems. Emulex has also developed HBAs based on the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol. Emulex sells its products directly to OEMs and through resellers and distributors.
