    Viva la cocina! Ekco S.A.B. is Mexico's largest housewares company. It manufactures steel and aluminum cookware, bakeware, cutlery, dinnerware, flatware, coffee makers, and kitchen gadgets. The company sells its kitchenware in Mexico, Argentina, and across Central America under the brands Ekco, Presto, Regal, Thermos, and Vasconia. After Lifetime Brands bought a 30% stake in Ekco for $22 million in 2007, the company introduced Vasconia brand kitchenware to the US and Canadian market. In turn, Ekco became the Latin American distributor for Lifetime's popular US brands Faberware, KitchenAid, Cuisinart, Pedrini, and Pfaltzgraff.
