EXX took over Newcor in 2001, and through it holds four operating subsidiaries that design and manufacture components used primarily for automotive and heavy diesel OEMs: Machine Tool and Gear, Rochester Gear, and DECO Engineering; Plastronics Plus specializes in precision machinery. Other businesses are involved in engineering, vinyl wall covering, toys, and telecommunictions equipment supply.
