Constellation Energy Partners' domain is decidedly more terrestrial than stellar. A subsidiary of Constellation Energy's Commodities Group, it is a coalbed methane exploration and production company that operates exclusively in Alabama's Black Warrior Basin. In 2007 Constellation Energy Partners reported proved reserves of 302.8 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent. The company's properties are located in the Robinson Bend Field and were first developed by Torch Energy and then by Everlast Energy.
