The cold, hard facts are that Colfax works hard to be a top maker and marketer of pumps and other fluid-handling products. Examples include centrifugal, gear, and two- and three-screw pumps under such brands as Allweiler, Imo, and Zenith. Its screw pumps have been used in a Northrop Grumman nuclear aircraft carrier. Other customers come from the commercial marine, oil and gas, power generation, and engineering industries. It sells through a global sales and marketing network and through distributors in about 80 countries. About half of its sales come from Europe.
