Selling big-name brands Carlsberg, Tuborg, and Baltika, as well as smaller regional and local brands, Carlsberg Breweries is Denmark's dominant brewer. It's also the fourth largest brewery in the world, its beers available throughout Europe and Asia. The company also makes and sells Coca-Cola in Denmark and Finland. In 2008 Carlsberg's parent company and Heineken acquired Irish brewer, Scottish & Newcastle (now called Heineken UK), for $15.3 billion.
