Through several subsidiaries, the company makes and distributes cement, concrete, aggregate, glass, and asphalt building materials and products throughout Western Europe and North America. Its products are used for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. The company also operates about 1,000 wholesale and retail building supplies stores with names including Professional Builders Merchants, GAMMA, BricoHouse, and Allied Building Products. CRH is Ireland's top cement supplier, with more than half of the market share.
