Boca Foods is saving cows, one burger at a time. The company, a subsidiary of Kraft Foods, makes low-fat meatless products, including burgers, sausages, breakfast links, ground burger, and breaded faux chicken nuggets and patties. It also offers entrees such as "meat" lasagna, chili, and pizzas. The products, which are soy-based (using organic and non-organic soy protein), provide the consumer with the needed protein normally found in meat. The company's products are mainly sold through grocery retailers, but Boca has begun to offer its entrees to restaurants as well.
