BCE is the Biggest Communications Enterprise in Canada. The company (BCE actually stands for Bell Canada Enterprises) owns Bell Canada, the incumbent provider of long-distance and local access in Ontario and Quebec. Bell Canada also owns stakes in local phone companies across the nation. Its holdings include wireless carrier Bell Mobility, as well as 44% of regional provider Bell Aliant. BCE operates about 12 million local access lines and provides wireless services to nearly 6 million customers.
