The company's integrated facilities consist of forests and plantations (over 1 million acres), mills, and port terminals in four Brazilian states. The company owns a one-third stake in Aracruz Produtos de Madeira, which produces eucalyptus hardwood lumber and related wood products for the flooring and furniture markets. In September 2009 Votorantim Celulose e Papel (VCP) acquired a majority stake in Aracruz. Aracruz and VCP then merged, creating Fibria, one of the world's largest pulp companies.
