Terrazzo, derived from the word for terraces in Italian, is made from discarded marble remnants or cement and is used in a wide range of applications including sidewalks, plazas, terraces, and stairways. American Terrazzo does most of its business in Texas, primarily in Dallas. The company's handiwork can be found anywhere from homes, schools, and churches to offices, airports, and arenas.
