Olives and grapes might come to mind when you think of Greek agriculture, but the Agricultural Bank of Greece has its mind on money. The bank, known as ATEbank, provides retail and commercial financial services, and, pursuant to its original mission, credit and other services to the agricultural community. ATEbank has some 480 offices in Greece and Romania (and a representative office in Germany) and more than 850 ATMs. Subsidiaries offer credit cards, insurance, leasing, and investment products.
