Afri-Can Marine Minerals is looking for jewels in the sea, but it isn't pearls the company is after. Afri-Can Marine explores for diamonds off the coast of Namibia, where it owns interests in some 25 licenses covering 10,000 square miles. It plans to develop deposits that appear profitable. The company's best prospect is its 70%-owned joint venture with Woduna Mining Holding. Its other partnership is Namibian Gemstones Mining. On dry land, the company is also has an option agreement in the Haib Copper Concession in Namibia.
