Cheniere Energy Partners Company Description
Cheniere Energy Partners, a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy, Inc. plans to be North America's biggest gas station -- natural gas, that is. Construction began on the Sabine Pass LNG (liquefied natural gas) receiving terminal in 2005, and was completed in 2008. The terminal is the largest of its kind in North America. The terminal boasts a 4 billion cu. ft.-per-day of regasification capacity as well as 16.8 billion cubic feet of LNG storage capacity. All of the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal's capacity has already been contracted to Total LNG USA (an affiliate of TOTAL S.A.), Chevron U.S.A., and Cheniere Energy Inc. subsidiary Cheniere Marketing.
