Cardo Company Description
Cardo is reopening its doors as a primarily business-to-business provider of industrial doors, pumps, and other products. The company, one of Europe's leading players in its various markets, has moved its focus away from such products as residential garage doors and toward its business clients, which include transportation companies, retailers, wastewater treatment facilities, and pulp and paper mills. Cardo, which manufactures, sells, and services its products, has subsidiaries in some 30 countries, operating primarily in Western Europe. About 90% of its sales come from countries outside Sweden. Through an investment vehicle, chairman Fredrik Lundberg owns 36% of Cardo.
