E.piphany, Inc. Selects Hoover's, Inc. For Integration With E.piphany E.6 Sales Software

AUSTIN, TEXAS - March 19, 2002 - Hoover's, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOOV), a leading provider of business information, today announced an alliance with E.piphany, Inc. (Nasdaq: EPNY), a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software. As a part of the agreement, E.piphany will integrate company information from Hoover's Online (www.hoovers.com) into E.piphany Sales, a part of E.piphany E.6, a complete suite of Smart CRM applications announced today in a separate news release.
As part of its commitment to delivering relevant and real-time information to sales organizations, E.piphany has made basic Hoover's Company Information on thousands of public and private enterprises worldwide directly available to clients using E.piphany Sales Software. In addition, E.piphany clients who are also Hoover's Online subscribers have the option to integrate premium Hoover's Company Information into their desktops in XML (Extensible Markup Language) format.
